Complete Solutions for Lymphedema: An Introduction To Custom Measurement

After this workshop, students should be able to:

  1. Explain basic Anatomy and Physiology of the vascular and lymphatic systems
  2. Discuss Chronic Venous Insufficiency and Lymphedema
  3. Discuss gradient compression stockings
  4. Determine appropriate patients and indications/contraindications for Warped-Knit, Circular-Knit, Flat-Knit garments, adjustable wrap garments, and foam- based garments.
  5. Demonstrate appropriate basic “Landmark” custom measuring techniques
  6. Discuss appropriate donning and wear/care instructions.
